Ben’s at Home is a feature film about a heartbroken and cynical character who recently went through a break up and makes the decision to never leave his house again. It was available on Netflix but can now be found on iTunes.
I had the pleasure of animating the opening titles and end credits for this film. With the opening titles, because the character mainly participates in the outside world via his phone and computer, I wanted the titles to have a sort of instant message feel without being overly visually intrusive.
For the end credits, the approach was to treat it as a sort of epilogue showing snapshots of the characters lives together after the film had concluded.

Nayan & the Evil Eye is a short film about a boy (Nayan) that finds a mysterious glass eye that gives him the gift to curse anyone he sets his eye on.
Since this is a short film, I decided to keep the opening title short and snappy, working it into the light leak scene right after the mask appears. Playing off of the director’s influences such as Edward Gorey and Time Burton, I chose a playful serif and made the dot above the eye into an abstract evil eye talisman. And the X in the background foreshadows a fate that may befall Nayan.

These end titles were created for an 8 part documentary series featuring award winning scientists discussing their "eureka" moments. To reflect the playful nature in which these scientists approached their work, I used quirky animations nodding to various scientific concentrations.
