I’m a senior motion graphics designer with a focus on the film & television industry. I have 10 years of professional experience creating work for companies and productions such as DC Comics, the Toronto International Film Festival, CBC, The Crash Course, Toronto Arts Council Foundation, Entertainment One, Mongrel Media, Blackberry and Scotiabank.
My passion for design first began when I was a kid, who obsessively collected old movie posters to plaster them all over my bedroom walls. The fonts, the images, and the style sparked my fascination for telling stories through design. This led me to pursue this passion as a career, starting with getting my Bachelor of Design degree from the York/Sheridan Joint Program in 2007.
Not only do I love experimenting and pushing the boundaries of my work, but also the challenge of creating within the guidelines of a brand. Throughout my career I've enjoyed acting as a creative chameleon, not just through my plethora of work in motion graphics or my experience in print design, but also illustrating, creating custom signage, sculpting and working on set for film and TV.
